We promise to always prioritize our investors' long-term wealth

We prioritize what is best for our investors. We never discuss what is best for Wellings Capital because we know that what is best for investors is always best for us. And we don't focus on short-term benefits. We design every investment with each investor's long-term prosperity in mind. This means many investors aren't a fit, and that's ok. 

We promise to perform stringent due diligence before making any investment

It can be hard to distinguish between experienced pros and lucky amateurs, and it takes a professional team to turn over every stone during due diligence. The rising tide lifted many boats this past decade. The least obvious details can derail an investment, so we go to great lengths upfront to protect investor capital and our reputation. We will never compromise on our 28-point due diligence checklist.

We promise to align our interests with our investors

We do this in at least two ways. First, we always invest alongside our investors and under the same terms. Second, we prioritize investor distributions and profits over our own. We accomplish this through our structure and modest fees. 

We promise to prioritize diversification over simplification

It would be easy for us to find a few great operators and load up on their deals. But it wouldn't be better. It would be easier for investors to receive a K-1 for just their home state. But it wouldn't provide the geographic diversification that leads to increased safety. We've chosen diversification over simplification for our investors' benefit.

We promise to prioritize safety of principal and reliable cash flow

While speculating can be fun, it's not a long-term pathway to predictable profits. We align with those who equate investing to watching paint dry or watching grass grow. Many options are more exciting, but we'll leave those to others and stay focused on Warren Buffett's Rule #1 (don't lose money!).

We promise to communicate with transparency and integrity

Our investors can access everything we know about our carefully selected operators and investments. Investors don't have to guess what's in our funds or why, and we promise to update investors on the good, bad, and ugly of all the allocations in their funds. 

We promise to keep our eyes on a higher cause 

We have been blessed and view it as a privilege and a responsibility to vet and publicize opportunities to give back to the community and the world. We will always share our Wellings Capital Management profits with those in need.
